In NYC (not so alone)
Building Upon Community

I am in NYC supporting my friends from Let’s.Ripple and Creators-On-Creators.
I've been craving time with my friends AND a visit to New York—I'm so grateful to have both happening simultaneously! Just three days in, and it already feels like I live here. The dream, right?!
NYC can be a paradox—a place where you feel utterly alone despite being surrounded by millions. Luckily, I'm staying at a Cohabs spot in Bushwick with friends I know and their friends. New connections for me!
The main reason I needed this trip is that I'm shifting gears. I'm transitioning from heavy production videos to weekly vlogs. I miss the consistency of experimenting with ideas, challenging myself, and having deadlines that keep me focused on one project at a time. Now, I have a week to make one video to the best of my ability! My goal is to create a new weekly vlog EVERY WEEK for the next two months.
It's scary, but the unknown always is.
YouTube Video of the Week

This is a 3 month old video but I did hear about this for a while. I wanted to finally watch this video because well…I LOVE NYC! I am very interested in the type of culture in NYC. Cheeseball-man is not the hero we asked for, but the hero we needed.
Anthony Po starts this video off with the highlights of how big this social experiment had gotten over 9 months to it’s incredible climax. Here it is the final event! Would he eat all 985 cheeseball’s in one sitting? While being watch nay cheered on by the city of New York. They love him and he love’s New York City. “Let him cook!” Once a stupid idea to a changed man. From the event to a couple interviews he thought nothing was to come of it. Little did he know you put something out there, the world was about to come to him. 50 Million views online just within the first day, getting requests to do cameo’s and….feet pics lol. Sponsorships also came in. He was now all over the internet. What did he do? He gave back! Doing charity events giving away $10,000 to charity’s and people of NYC. This became bigger than “Anthony Po” has ever been. Now…he has more fun being this character.
So much so he had to pay people to unpost videos to keep the secret alive! Anthony concludes this video with the truth behind the scenes. Depression. He lost a lot... Something that seem inescapable for every artist. A plague if you will. And what is the cure for a depressed artist? Fun and people to share it with. Creating "The Leauge of Legends" bringing others to become a Cheeseball!
So Anthony brings everyone in on the superhero, masked vigilante of cheeseball-man! This adds to the tail of the magic of New York City, that when done just right, dreams will happen. He is officially CHEESEBALL-MAN!
How does art change the world?

“This is why art is so important. Because it can get us to places that we wouldn’t get to any other way.”
Actor Andrew Garfield talks about love, loss and grief on the “Modern Love” podcast, reading aloud “Learning to Measure Time in Love and Loss,” an essay by Chris Huntington.
This random piece of content blessed my soul the other day. First off, I adore Andrew Garfield and his eloquent expression of emotions in scenes. Moreover, I've been searching for the perfect way to articulate the importance of art.
As AI becomes more prevalent, I feel compelled to emphasize the significance of HUMAN creativity and the expression of our emotional landscape. I worry that as the internet expands, it creates a false sense of connection when, in reality, it's making us more divided than ever.
This is just my opinion, so take it as you will, but I want to continue creating with others who aim to make things that matter—to make the internet feel smaller and to create purely out of passion.
So far, I'm finding success in this endeavor. The only challenge? We literally live not just all over the US, but all over the WORLD!
