Time to Pour
Knowledge to Action

Taking action in 2025! I have been slacking in the current year of 2024.
I have posted only a handful of videos, though I am proud of most of them, I have felt like I’m falling behind. In the sense that I haven’t been challenging myself enough to try new things or just improve either. I honestly can’t remember if I wrote about this but in January 2025 the first Monday will begin the weekly vlog!
I have been so worn out trying to find inspiration and new ideas and skills. Little did I know I was overfilling my creative cup. I realized in the last couple months that it is time to pour, to take action moving towards my goals instead of just adding weight along the way.
I’m so excited and here’s why. Like I said I want to challenge and improve. But in a weekly format I can show up more frequently and have time to experiment. Most importantly focus on how I can tell better stories.
More updates to come on this but what I can share is that it starts in my favorite city….NYC 🗽
YouTube Video of the Week
Ali Gallop is one of my favorite storytellers on YouTube to date.
In this video: “Stop Pouring. Start Drinking.” He is sharing the tale of filling up our cups of knowledge but never taking the time to do anything with it. How amazing it is that we have the internet to be inspired and see cultures of the world all from within a rectangle in your palm.
He takes us through 2 real life situations, where he literally fills up a cup of water only to never drink it, finding out from his doctor he has tight hip flexers, looking it up and why he has pain and what to do, learning to play golf, watching tutorials on so many softwares, how to grow chilies…..from chilies, spending 1000 days on Duolingo to still remember enough to say he can’t speak Spanish.
Since 1998 the internet and the ease to connect and search anything has exploded exponentially! SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE yet what has been done with it?
“Knowledge is power”…to Ali that couldn’t be farther from the truth. To Ali knowledge is at most POTENTIAL. “If I got knowledge of stuff but then I don’t use that knowledge to actually do anything, surely that’s going to make me subconsciously feel like I’m not fulfilling my potential.”
Taking the knowledge to putting it to use in our practical lives, is what makes us feel good about ourselves! There is no fulfillment in just having the knowledge.
With all of this information at our fingertips, what will we chose to do with it? Before your cup of water overfills leading you to burnout…what will you chose to do with your accumulated knowledge? And have you thought carefully about what you are accumulating in the first place?
You’re Closer Than You Think
You’ve hit roadblocks before, haven’t you? Times when the algorithm feels like it’s working against you, when your ideas don’t land, or when self-doubt whispers, “What’s the point?” Here’s the thing: those moments? They’re a test.
Every creator you admire has been right where you are now. The difference? They pushed through. Growth doesn’t happen on the days everything flows perfectly. Growth happens in the messy middle—when you’re tired, questioning everything, and you still choose to show up.
The audience you dream of? They’re out there waiting for you—your voice, your perspective, your unique spark. What feels like an invisible grind today is the foundation of your tomorrow. Success doesn’t arrive with a parade; it’s built quietly in the moments no one sees.
So, here’s your reminder: every post, every late-night brainstorm, every small win—it all matters. Keep going, because you’re building something extraordinary, even if you can’t see it yet.
The world doesn’t need another creator who gives up. The world needs you.
Go create. You’re closer than you think. And have fun along the way.
